Al iniciar la década de los 90’s en medio de la confusión y caos reinante en la ciudad de Lima, los jóvenes más inquietos tenían la opción de vivir y sentir algo demasiado real a través de la música independiente que por esos días se estaba gestando. Uno de estos inquietos seres fue, sin duda alguna, el no-músico limeño Wilder Gonzales Agreda.
Wilder Gonzales empezó su carrera musical de la mano de los psicodélicos Hipnoascensión para quienes colaboraba como vocalista alrededor de los años 1993 y 1994. A mediados de los 90’s fundó su propia banda, AVALONIA, sujeta a la corriente ethereal-noise y shoegazer la misma que por esos días hechizaba el corazón y la mente de cientos de jóvenes en todo el planeta gracias a bandas de la talla de My Bloody Valentine, Slowdive, Pale Saints, Silvania, Lovesliescrushing, Swallow, etc

Tras la abrupta disolución de Avalonia, Gonzales creó de inmediato un nuevo ente metamusical el cual por breve espacio de tiempo respondería al mágico nombre de ARCELLY, pero tras una fructífera discusión varió de nombre por el de FRACTAL. Esta nueva formación si bien en lo más hondo estaba marcado y rajado por el sempiterno ethereal-noise terminaría dando a luz canciones y piezas experimentales que lograron elevar la música peruana al mapamundi post-rock internacional.
Terminados los 90’s, terminado el colectivo local CRISÁLIDA SÓNICA, el no-músico tuvo que parar por casi 4 años tras los cuales sus psicodélicas creaciones musicales vendrían en sorprendente aumento llegando incluso a ser objeto de lujosos halagos por parte de la prensa especializada del extranjero como The Wire (Inglaterra), Rock de Lux (España), Go Mag (España), Losing Today (Italia), Loop (Chile), Especial 35 (Chile), Ruidismo (España), etc.
Ahora, año 2009, Wilder Gonzales continúa como solista produciendo discos y regalándonos conciertos que por su ánimo espacial, minimalista y enajenado nos recuerdan que todo trato que no eleva, rebaja.

Early 90's in the midst of confusion and chaos in the city of Lima, the young and restless, had the option of living and feeling a little too real through the independent music those days were brewing. One of these curious beings was ,without any doubt , the non-musician WILDER GONZALES AGREDA. Wilder Gonzales began his musical career in the hands of the psychedelic Hipnoascensión as a singer around the years 1993 and 1994. In the mid-90's started his own band, AVALONIA, subject to the flow-ethereal shoegaze and noise the same as in those days bewitched the hearts and minds of hundreds of young people around the globe with bands the likes of My Bloody Valentine, Slowdive, Pale Saints, Silvania, Lovesliescrushing, Swallow, etc
Following the abrupt dissolution of Avalonia, Gonzales immediately created a new body which metamusical short space of time to respond ARCELLY magical name, but after a fruitful discussion became the name of FRACTAL. This new form managed to raise the Peruvian music to the international post-rock map. Finished the 90's and with this also the end of "Crisalida Sonica"a local activist movement, non-musician Wilder Gonzales Agreda had to stop for almost 4 years , after which , their psychedelic musical creations came in with a surprising increase , even for praise by the press such as The Wire (England), Rock of Lux (Spain), Go Mag (Spain), Losing Today (Italy), Loop (Chile), Special 35 (Chile), noise (Spain), etc..
Now, 2009, Wilder Gonzales continues to produce solo albums and concerts, works that because of its minimalistic mood remind us that, Everything that does not elevate, lets down.
